CARICO DEI VEICOLI
Topic explanation
Loads must be arranged on motor vehicles in such a way as to:
not exceed the payload capacity indicated in the vehicle registration document
prevent the load from falling
not compromise the stability of the vehicle
not reduce the driver's visibility and not obstruct the freedom of movement while driving
not obscure the lighting and visual signaling devices, nor the license plates and hand signals (this applies to non-motorized vehicles, e.g., bicycles)
not protrude from the rear by more than three-tenths of the vehicle's length. In such cases, the load must be marked with a retro-reflective panel with white and red stripes
On motorcycles, the load must be securely fastened and arranged so as not to protrude laterally by more than 50cm. Animals may be transported if kept in a suitable cage.
