FINE DEL DIRITTO DI PRECEDENZA
Topic explanation
It is a regulatory sign (priority). It indicates the end of an urban or extra-urban road where vehicles have the right of way.
Therefore, after the sign, priority must normally be given to vehicles approaching from the right, unless there is a GIVE WAY or STOP sign, which mandate giving way to traffic from the left as well.
The sign indicates that the driver should proceed with greater caution as the right of way no longer applies.
It is not true that it mandates coming to a complete stop at the junction (unless a STOP sign is present), that it announces the end of a previously imposed obligation (the RIGHT OF WAY is not a mandatory sign), or that it always announces a junction with priority to the right.
