Topic explanation
It is a regulatory sign (priority). It warns of a merge from the left with an acceleration lane; we have priority over the merging vehicles.
It is normally placed at a distance of 150 metres from the merge point.
The GIVE WAY sign is placed on the slip road (lateral entry road).
