It is a danger sign, located in the immediate vicinity of a level crossing, generally without barriers (following the UNBARRIERED LEVEL CROSSING sign and the distance markers), and indicates that the railway line has more than one track.
It may be placed both horizontally and vertically.
It requires vehicles to stop at the stop line if a train is approaching.
It advises caution before crossing, as more than one train may pass.
It may be combined with the STOP sign when visibility is sufficient only from a short distance from the track.
It is not true that it may have a yellow background in the event of track works.
