No entry for vehicles with a width exceeding 2.30 metres
This is a prohibitory sign. It indicates the maximum width of vehicles permitted to use the road.
In this case, it prohibits entry to all vehicles (motorised and non-motorised) with a width exceeding 2.30 m.
It is placed on both urban and extra-urban roads; for example, it may be located before a narrow passage; it applies 24 hours a day.
It is not true that it indicates the width of the road or the narrow passage.
