This sign is placed transversely to the road being traveled at T-junctions, i.e., junctions where it is not possible to proceed straight ahead.
The arrows are oriented in the only possible directions; therefore, it indicates the requirement to turn right or left.
To indicate temporary diversions, it is white and red in color.
